Hoang Van is the composer who has always been a lover of the sea, the seas of Vietnam. After the miners, the construction workers, this Quang Ninh fishermen song, wrote after a journey to Quang Ninh (Halong Bay), the fishermen finally have their romance with other “job’s songs”, one part of most famous Hoang Van’s songs.

"Romance of Fishermen of Quang Ninh Province". The sea and the island were an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the composer. He composed a lot about the sea, about sailors, fishermen, coast guards etc. This Romance was probably created in the early 1970s, during a journey in this province that gave birth to one of the composer's best-known works "For today, for tomorrow, for eternity". (one of the three "Songs of construction workers")..., or, if not, at the end of the 1970s together with the "Romance of miners" during another trip in the province. After the miner, the construction worker, the fishermen expressed their feelings: "Thank you to the Mother Sea, thank you to the Motherland for raising us day after day".
